twohunnyz Joined: 24 Nov 2006 Posts: 6 Location: Washington BUTTERMILK RABBIT one rabbit cut into serving pieces 2 Tbs. melted butter 2 c. dry bread crumbs salt & pepper to taste 1/4 tsp. paprika 2 c. buttermilk 3 strips of bacon Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. In a small bowl, add spices to bread crumbs; pour melted butter over; mix well. Spread over rabbit in the dish. Pour buttermilk over. Top with bacon strips. Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
